Breakfast can be the most boring meal of the day! How many varieties of toast can one person have?!
Moreover, it seems entirely irrational to me that we have our most nutritious meal in the evening AFTER we have done all that our day demands of us. I wish I could do photo wall of all the expressions met by my suggestion “what about having some veggies for breakfast?” It would be hilarious! But veggies for breakfast makes sense. Fuel your body with all the colours of the rainbow combined with good proteins and fats so that it can work better- and for longer.
The most common reason for jumping on the beige food wagon? Time. I can asure you, that the extra 10 minutes you put into whipping up something more nutritious will pay off. You will get more done in the time you have available that day- actually saving yourself time.
EVERYONE needs vegetables, good proteins and good fats. Don’t make eating complicated. Just ensure that each meal covers these three basis, avoid anything processed where possible and exercise regularly.
Food can make you FEEL SO GOOD. So choose it wisely.
